noah plantWhat do you teach at Oaksterdam University?
I teach Horticulture at Oaksterdam University. Subject matter ranges from horticulture 101 (the basics) through advance subjects like grow room design, and nutrient disorders.

How long have you been with OU?
I have proudly been a part of Oaksterdam University since 2014.

How you got involved in the industry?
I got my start in the industry by growing cannabis in the spare bedroom of my college apartment in Santa Cruz, California. Go Slugs! My entire operation was one 400 watt light with 6 plants. From there on out there was no looking back!

What is the name of your company or business and what services you provide?
I operate the cannabis cultivation support service Noah Knows How. I’m here to help organizations small and large design and implement new operations and improve existing systems. Applying for a new state permit? Noah knows how. I am also a certified installer of KIND LED grow lamps, Gorilla grow tents, and direct retailer of Hydrofarm supplies. I hope I can help you build your dream operation!

Expert tip for our readers?
If I can offer one piece of expert advice it would simply be that; water is everything! Always get your water tested to ensure you are not feeding harmful concentrations of trace elements. A simple water test can ensure you achieve monster yields!

Favorite part about Oaksterdam?
Oaksterdam is the only place in the world that promotes the open exchange of information concerning this wonderful plant. For me, and many other cannabis enthusiasts, activists, and advocates it is the hard fought center of our world!
