About Oaksterdam University Oakland

Oaksterdam University Oakland is the original campus. Founded in November 2007 by Richard Lee, this ground breaking school has generated much publicity, further legitimizing the fight for legalization. Our Oakland campus features a large 100 person classroom, full horticulture lab, and a large administrative staff to attend to students. Oakland also added a Student Union across the street which features a pool table, shuffleboard table and satellite TV.

Parking

If you are parking on the street and there is no parking meter, you MUST buy a street permit. Permit machines can be found on the sidewalk on every street and take coins or credit card (NO BILLS). You must pay for parking on the street Monday-Saturday until 8:00pm. Sundays are free. The city of Oakland is very strict about parking enforcement.

Look for these signs and/or these machines for permits.
