Graduation Ceremony & 10 Year Anniversary Celebration

November 18, 2017

It’s OU’s official 10-year anniversary cultivating leaders and providing education for the cannabis industry. Unofficially it’s been over 20 years since the Oaksterdam community and its leaders provided a safe place to medicate and educate in the area.

Oaksterdam University, as well as the community, endured a lot over the past 20 years fighting for cannabis rights and freedoms. Activists, entrepreneurs, students, faculty, and citizens have protested, progressed and now – years later – are starting to prosper in an industry we weren’t sure would exist. That is why it is so important that we celebrate this joint success this November 18th right here in the heart of Oaksterdam and directly across from beautiful Lake Merritt.
