Housing

Oaksterdam University does not provide dorm rooms or hostel accommodations. Students may stay at a hotel, rent a room through Craigslist, search our student postings, or stay at Ed Rosenthal’s Bud and Breakfast.

Hotels

We recommend that students coming into town for our 2 or 4-day seminars rent a room from a nearby hotel. Semester students can rent hotel rooms for the month at discounted rates. Upon enrollment into one of our programs, you will receive a welcome letter with a full list of hotels, some of which offer discounts to OU students. Whether you plan to stay in downtown Oakland or near the airport, public transportation will bring you directly to our address at 1734 Telegraph Ave, Oakland, CA 94612.
