Happy New Year!!!

With the New Year 2018 arriving so do new State regulations around cannabis businesses. We are here to help your agency by making sure you are compliant with the regulation around Employee Badges. This new State regulation is mentioned in section 5043 which text is included below.

Patient ID Center is pleased to announce Employee Badges are now available through our Agency.  We are able to offer the same quality and expertise you have come to expect from our medical cannabis ID cards, which are presently still available.  The employee badges are styled in a landscape or portrait design including colored photo, company name, license number, employee’s first name and employee number as required. Currently, employee badges include a hologram laminate overlay. These badges can be obtained in person at our Oakland office all in one visit or online by sending photo and employee information once setup of Badge is completed. Badges can then be picked up at our Oakland office or will be promptly mailed within 24 hours of receipt of information and payment.

Cost of employee badges are as follows:

  • $20.00 Initial Setup fee-one time only
  • $10.00 per employee badge for less than ten cards
  • More than ten badges a discount per card will be applied

New California State regulations below

5043. Licensee Employee Badge Requirement
All agents, officers, or other persons acting for or employed by a licensee shall display a laminated or plastic-coated identification badge issued by the licensee at all times while engaging in commercial cannabis activity. The identification badge shall, at a minimum, include the licensee’s “doing business as” name and license number, the employee’s first name, an employee number exclusively assigned to that employee for identification purposes, and a color photograph of an employee that clearly shows the full front of the employee’s face and that is at least 1 inch in width and 1.5 inches in height.
