Tara is a managing partner of Cougar Acres Consulting, a firm that helps clients in the cannabis industry develop science and ethics-based business strategies for long-term success.
She is an astute market observer and has more than 10 years of experience performing market and policy research for clients in volatile and emerging industries. She has also played a key role in the development of Oaksterdam University’s business curriculum.
Tara holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Washington. Her first experience with the commercial cannabis industry was on an outdoor farm in Mendocino County, Calif., during the formative years of the pre-adult use cannabis market. She assisted with the management of day-to-day operations and oversaw the processing of the harvested crop.
