To mark the cannabis holiday 4/20, Oaksterdam University is partnering with California NORML to award four scholarships in honor of the organization’s Director, Dale Gieringer. The scholarships will provide the opportunity to enroll in one of two self-paced online courses offered by Oaksterdam University: Home Grow or Budtending Certification.

CaNORML Scholarship

Home Grow (valued at $295) will teach you how to cultivate and harvest high-quality cannabis plants from your own garden or tent. Budtending (valued at $486) focuses on customer service, health, and wellness in a dispensary setting, providing you with the foundational knowledge to get started in the industry.

To be considered for one of the four single-course scholarships, visit CaNORML’s website and apply through the online form by May 20, 2023.

In your submission, you will be asked to provide your course choice and answer the following questions:

  • Tell us a little bit about yourself and your background.
  • Why are you interested in the selected course?
  • How would this scholarship positively impact your future?
