Why have you attended Oaksterdam?
In addition to having been a cannabis connoisseur, I also come from a big family background of psychiatrists, therapists, doctors and nurses. Helping others is something I enjoy. So when marijuana became accepted as medicine in the country again, I knew that’s what I wanted to do for a career. I left NJ where the laws weren’t as liberal as the west coast and Oaksterdam was the first stop.
How has it helped or inspire you?
Just being in that environment of free thinking individuals who aspire to learn greatly influenced my direction. The school is awesome for networking and brain storming. After OU, I moved to Colorado to begin working for the industry. I am also working with analytical scientists and other OU alumni’s. We have big plans coming for the East Coast!
What would you tell prospective students?
Give them your full attention, put your faith in the instructors and have fun. Oaksterdam University was a lot of fun and an awesome learning experience.
