From Student Support to Registrar of Oaksterdam University, Mars is the person who ensures all enrolled students receive the answers and confidence they need to choose their program of study.
Mars helps students navigate their areas of interest within the cannabis space. She also strives to create Digital Accessibility and Neurodiversity in the field of UX Design and is committed to visibility and intersectionality in Tech.
Before Oaksterdam, Mars worked as a Budtender in Illinois for two years, receiving their Illinois Responsible Vendor training from Chicago NORML. They have volunteered to assist in operations at WEIC events hosted in Joliet and Chicago, and developed their passion for medicinal cannabis consultations, working with families from diverse backgrounds and those with disabilities.
