Dr. Gangano holds a doctorate in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Florida. She has been working professionally for more than 27 years in both the laboratory and manufacturing sectors. Her track record includes successful engagements in private industry (Kellogg’s, Monsanto, Pfizer), governmental agencies (San Francisco Police Department, FBI), and start-up companies (Applied Biosystems, IntegenX, Greener Frontiers). Since 2015, she has worked in the cannabis industry designing, developing, and licensing manufacturing, distribution, and retail operations in the state of California and within the tribal reservation of the Iipay Nation of Santa Ysabel.
She specializes in developing new technologies and products, facilitating emerging market acceptance and growth, working together with business and law enforcement partners, and building companies’ capabilities and compliance with a variety of regulatory requirements.
Dr. Gangano is currently the Executive Vice President of R&D and Compliance at Greener Frontiers. She has worked to develop the Deeper Green tasteless and odorless water-soluble THC and CBD ingredients into commercially-viable products with respect to consistent target potency, shelf-life stability, reliable production techniques, and the ability to exceed regulatory compliance standards.
