Course Types
We have different types of certification courses to accommodate work and personal schedules as well as individual learning preferences.
- Self-Paced: Get certified by studying where and when you want, no matter how hectic your schedule is. The curriculum includes text, videos, and a library of resources.
- Fast-Track: Meet LIVE online twice a week for 8 weeks. Get knowledge, connections, and certification, in an accelerated environment, to start your career in the exciting world of cannabis. Network with like-minded students from around the world and learn from our expert faculty in real-time.
- Capstone Build-A-Business: Meet LIVE online once a week for 17 weeks. In addition to our curriculum, networking and extracurricular opportunities, you will create a business plan lite for your grow operation or start-up, under the guidance of experts in the field.
Certification Courses
Horticulture
Learn to grow from seed or clone successfully. Get strategies for planning, launching, and sustaining a commercial cannabis operation. Learn cannabis science and the entire life cycle of the plant from propagation to harvest. Understand lighting science, ventilation, CO2 supplementation, and electrical systems to grow healthy flower and increase your yields.
Horticulture Live (Capstone)
Meet with your instructors and classmates from around the world once a week for 17 weeks via video conference to learn the most cutting-edge information available in the industry, and leave with a business plan lite. Interact with your peers and have your questions answered in real time. You’ll get the knowledge, connections, and certification, in an accelerated environment, to start your career in the exciting world of cannabis. You’ll also get the opportunity for virtual field trips, grow labs, and special events.

Budtending
The course gives you the knowledge and skills needed to succeed as a budtender in a dispensary setting, from a scientific and practical standpoint. We offer an introduction to cannabis cultivation and extraction, with a background in cannabis history, law and advocacy. We examine the breadth of cultivars and products on the market, along with how they affect the body. We also highlight customer relations, and areas unique to cannabis retail, including product handling security and patient safety.
